Check-in and Deposit
- Check in from 14h00 on day of arrival and check out by 10h00 on day of departure
- 50% deposit to confirm booking
- Full payment and R2000 breakage and disturbance deposit two days before arrival
- Breakage and disturbance deposit will be refunded within 5 working days of departure
- The deposit will be forfeited if more than 8 people occupy the house or violate any House Rule
House rules
- Monet House is not specifically designed for young children and is built on the river edge. While young children are welcome, they must be under the continuous and personal supervision of a parent or guardian at all times. Guests assume full responsibility for the safety and conduct of any minors in their party.
- Bachelor parties are strictly forbidden
- This is a non-smoking house, smoking facilities are available outside
- The house may not be used for functions or parties
- Groups that book more than one house may not gather together at one house, but should make use of the clubhouse
- Regrettably no pets allowed
- No day visitors
- Mosquitoes and midgets are in abundance. Please turn off lights and close windows from sunset onwards
- Monkeys are present on the Estate, please ensure that doors and windows are closed when a room is vacated
Indemnity
The owners and management of Monet House accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury sustained by guests whether it arises from gross negligence, omission by the owners or any other cause whatsoever, whether within or beyond the contemplation of the parties, which is suffered by any person who enters the premises or uses the amenities provided. Minors remain the sole responsibility of their accompanying legal guardians
