Monet House

Situated on the Parys Golf and Country Estate, Monet House offers you your own piece of bush adjacent to a freestanding island within the rumbling waters of the majestic Vaal River. Not only does the island shield its visitors from human activities in and across the river, but also provides spawning ground to the fresh water fish in the area.

The famous French artist Oscar-Claude Monet was a master at painting light and atmosphere. MONET HOUSE was built to accentuate the same light and fresh atmosphere, whilst we engaged masters to encapsulate the beauty of nature, to lighten the spirit and expose the soul to luxury in open space.

Equipped with French doors leading onto a private patio and lawns, this room leads to the property’s own private jetty. Power boats and canoes may be launched from this jetty.
